Watch two minutes with Richard first
When you are leading people, some moments are simply too important to rush. A difficult personnel decision. A restructuring question. A tense conversation with a senior team member. A strategic direction that will land on everyone you lead.
The problem usually is not that you need more information. You have plenty of information. What you need is a confidential space to slow down, untangle what is actually happening, examine the assumptions you have stopped noticing, and discern what is wise, faithful and responsible here.
That is what the Decision Clarity Intensive is for.
If you are carrying something that involves people, pressure, responsibility, consequences and discernment — this is built for exactly that.
You may leave with the decision made, or with a clear sense of what you still need before you can make it. Either is a good outcome. Both beat carrying it unresolved for another month.
The same four we would cover in the six-month Lead with Clarity partnership — applied to one issue instead of many. Your situation decides where we spend the time.
We separate the situation from the noise around it and examine the narratives you have built on top of it. Leaders rarely get stuck for lack of commitment. They get stuck because an unexamined assumption has quietly narrowed what they can see.
Some of this is genuinely yours to decide and own. Some belongs to someone else, to a conversation you have been putting off, to a boundary you have not drawn, or to a truth you have been reluctant to face. We name the difference.
God has shaped you with particular strengths, values and convictions. The wisest path forward usually works with that design rather than against it.
We look at the paths open to you and what follows from each: what happens if you act, if you wait, and if you do nothing. Then we work toward the step that actually needs to happen next.
One focused coaching conversation with me, centred on one real leadership issue. Not a discovery call. Not a sales conversation.
You process the issue outside your organisation, without managing the expectations of your board, team, peers or family.
I help you slow down, see the situation more fully, and consider what may be happening beneath the surface of it.
A brief written record of the key themes, considerations and possible next areas of attention. A reflection tool — not a directive, decision or action plan imposed on you.
The value is not in getting advice. It is in having somewhere confidential to slow down, name what is happening, and see what you could not see alone.
“I learned that the key to making more confident and impactful decisions is having clarity in my thoughts. Richard never told me what I should do. Yet, repeatedly, he helped me see what I care about. His questions were often thought-provoking and powerful, illuminating the unspoken struggles and contradictions behind my words. Sometimes, a single statement from him created more insights than a week of thinking on my own.”
Monique Hsu — HR and Finance Management Division Director
“Those seemingly simple conversations carried tremendous power: they helped me see myself more deeply, rethink the situations I faced, and inspire greater self-awareness. They also helped me understand my reactions and inner dynamics under pressure. We do not always have to carry everything alone. Choosing to accept guidance, enter into dialogue, and embrace self-awareness is an act of courage we can all choose.”
Rev. Esther Pan — Chief Executive Officer
“Richard asked me some powerful questions that drew out answers within me that I would never have imagined. All I needed to do was to trust the Holy Spirit to work through me. Coaching gave me ownership of my solutions, next action steps and area of focus.”
Moses Osagiede — Ministry Director
“Richard’s professional and powerful questions always cut to the core, helping me clarify my thoughts and uncover blind spots. He always had ways to help me untangle my messy thoughts, find order, and see a glimmer of light.”
Daniel Chang — Manager
“Richard has been instrumental in my personal growth, constantly challenging my limiting beliefs and encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone. His unique ability to broaden my perspective when I was too narrowly focused or experiencing tunnel vision has been invaluable.”
Ric Poolman — Manager
“Richard demonstrated his exceptional ability to ask insightful questions, which often lead to profound contemplation by causing me to re-examine my perspectives on certain issues.”
Daphne Lan — Founder
“Richard has been so servant-hearted and wants me to succeed as a leader. He asks really great, often challenging questions to get me thinking in new directions.”
Andrew Bryan — Strategy Director
Under two minutes with Richard: what happens in an intensive, and what doesn’t.
I am Richard Lim — an executive coach, team coach, coach trainer and mentor coach. I hold the ICF PCC credential, the EMCC EIA and ITCA Senior Practitioner credentials, and I am a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and TMBC StandOut Strengths Coach.
For more than twenty years I have had the privilege of walking alongside leaders, teams and organisations through real leadership challenges — people, pressure, decisions, conflict, purpose and responsibility.
My role is not to take the decision out of your hands. It is to help you think clearly, notice what is difficult to see, and lead with wisdom, courage and integrity.
The honest comparison is not US$495 against nothing. It is US$495 against another month of carrying this.
An unresolved decision keeps drawing on you whether or not you attend to it:
Ninety focused minutes is a small cost set against a decision of that weight — and less than most leaders spend on a single day of travel to a meeting that matters less.
There is no pressure to continue. The intensive stands on its own as a focused opportunity to work through one important issue properly.
You pick your slot and pay on the same page. I hold a limited number of intensive slots each month so that every session gets real preparation.
Choose a time and complete payment to reserve the session. You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link, plus reminders before we meet.
Before we meet you briefly describe the leadership issue or decision you want to work on, so no time is spent on background in the session itself.
We slow down, talk through what you are carrying, and explore what needs your attention. I coach leaders across Asia and North America and hold slots for a range of time zones.
A written summary follows the session so you can keep reflecting with greater clarity in the days after.
If you are grappling with a leadership decision, a difficult conversation, or a situation that feels too important to process alone, I would welcome the opportunity to support you.
You do not need to rush it. You do not need to carry it in silence. And you do not need to make sense of it in isolation.
Bring one real leadership issue. Let’s slow down, examine what is happening, and find what needs your attention next.
